Homepage Editor<\/h3>\n

To access the Homepage Editor from the back end of your site:<\/p>\n

  1. Click Homepage<\/strong> on the side menu<\/li>\n
  2. Hover over the Homepage, and click Edit<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note:<\/strong> We recommend that you always edit the current Homepage instead of adding a new one. If you create a new Homepage, you will need to contact Web Services to have it previewed and published.<\/p>\n

    Banner Text<\/h3>\n

    By default, the banner text is your site title. However, you can customize the banner text by filling out the Banner Heading<\/strong> and Banner Small Text<\/strong> fields under the Homepage Banners<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n

    Banner Image<\/h3>\n

    You may not have permissions enabled to change the homepage banner. If you want to gain access to this option, please contact Web Services<\/a>. If you just want to test out these options, you should have permission to do so on the CCMS Playground<\/a><\/p>\n

    1. Expand the Homepage Banners<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
    2. Under\u00a0Banner Type<\/strong>, select Single Image<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. You have the option to upload your own image, or use a hosted image.\n
        \n
      1. If you select Hosted Image<\/strong>, insert the hosted banner name<\/a> in the Banner Hosted Image<\/strong> field. For detailed instructions on how to use Hosted Images, visit Advanced Training Module 2: Hosted Images<\/a>.

      2. If you select Upload<\/strong>, click the Add Image<\/strong> button under the Banner Uploaded Image<\/strong> field.
        \n\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Select the appropriate Banner Image Opacity<\/strong> to make sure your text is readable on the banner. Hosted banner images are already darkened.
        \n\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Banner Buttons<\/h3>\n
          \n
        1. Expand the Homepage Banners<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
        2. Under\u00a0Banner Button<\/strong>, select Yes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        3. Under Banner Buttons<\/strong>, add the Button Text<\/strong>, which is the text that appears on the button, and a Button Link<\/strong>, which is the destination of the button.<\/li>\n
        4. To add another button, click Add Button<\/strong>. You can have up to 2 buttons on the Homepage banner.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n

          Banner Slideshow<\/h3>\n

          This is an example of a banner slideshow<\/a>. To create a banner slideshow:<\/p>\n

          1. Under\u00a0Banner Type<\/strong>, select Slideshow<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          2. Toggle Slideshow Autoplay<\/strong> on or off.<\/li>\n
          3. Under Banner Slideshow<\/strong>, you can customize each banner on the slideshow. The steps are similar to customizing a single banner.<\/li>\n
          4. To add another banner to the slideshow, click Add Slideshow Item<\/strong>. You can have up to 5 banners on the slideshow.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n
