Need Ideas for the Blurb Submission? Read below to help expand on your creativity!
- Describe any tips or advice you have for co-op students entering their first work term, or things you wish you knew going into your first work term
- Think about what made you successful in your position including some of the skills you developed and how you believe you stood out during the interview process
- Reflect on what you have enjoyed most about your co-op term and working with your organization
- Describe how you’ve been able to build your network and connect with managers and other staff in a remote work setting
- Employer feedback with their permission is permitted, however we are mainly looking to hear your perspective on how you believe you did well, rather than the employer perspective. You may include your organization’s name with permission from your employer
The submitted photos and blurbs might be published or shared externally, including, but not limited to Carleton’s Co-op and Career Services LinkedIn or Instagram account. While this is meant to be a fun exercise, remember to present your professional self in your submission! The best photos and blurbs will be rewarded with free Carleton merchandise from the Carleton Bookstore and will be featured on Carleton’s LinkedIn page!
