The Contest Period<\/strong>\u202f 
The Contest is run by Carleton University\u2019s\u202fCo-operative Education office.<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>The Contest will run online from\u202f<\/strong>Tuesday,\u202fApril 14, 2026,<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>until<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>Tuesday,<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>April<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>28, 2026,<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>at 11:59 p.m. EDT.<\/strong>\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fThe person entering the Contest must be a currently enrolled Carleton student and a resident of Canada who has reached the age of majority in their province of residence. The Contest is not open to staff and faculty of Carleton. The Contest is not open to residents of Quebec.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fTo be eligible, submissions must not\u202fcontain\u202fvulgar language, nudity, copyrighted materials, videos\/pictures\/music from a third party or illegal activities. We reserve the right to disqualify any submission for any reason.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Enter<\/strong>\u202f 
The Contest may be entered online only. To complete the official Contest entry, participants must complete the\u202fJob Search\u202fSupport Hub (SU26)\u202ffeedback survey\u202fand include their name, student\u202fnumber\u202fand Carleton email address. Participants may\u202fsubmit\u202fonly one<\/strong>\u202ffeedback survey.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fLate entries will be disqualified. There is no fee to enter this Contest, and no purchase or other consideration is necessary.\u202f \u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prizes<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>\u202f 
There will be\u202fone Carleton Co-op<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>prize pack awarded by a random draw to the Contest winner.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fThe value of this prize is\u202f$20\u202f<\/strong>CDN and consists of a Carleton co-op tumbler, pens, and chocolates.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fThe chosen entrant will\u202fbe required\u202fto\u202fsubmit\u202ftheir Carleton University ID (CUID) to confirm eligibility. The prizes have no cash redemption value. Carleton University makes no express or implied warranties of any kind with respect to the safety or performance of the Contest prizes.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fSelection\u202fand Awarding of the Prizes\u202f<\/strong>\u202f 
Contest entries must be\u202fsubmitted\u202fby\u202fTuesday,\u202fApril\u202f28, 2026,\u202fat 11:59 p.m. EDT.<\/strong>\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fBetween Wednesday,\u202fApril 29, 2026,\u202f<\/strong>and Friday, May 1, 2026<\/strong>,<\/strong> a winner will be randomly selected from an online randomized picking platform.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fThe Contest winner will be notified by email\u00a0between\u202fWednesday,\u202fApril 29, 2026,\u202f<\/strong>and Friday, May 1, 2026<\/strong>,\u202f<\/strong>to confirm their identity and will be provided a skill-testing (mathematical) question which they will\u202fbe required\u202fto answer correctly prior to prize pick-up.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disqualification: If any one of the Contest conditions is not met, the selected entrant will be disqualified and shall not be entitled to receive any prizes. If any information is\u202fdeemed\u202fto be false,\u202fThe Co-operative Education office<\/strong>\u202freserves the right to disqualify that entrant in their absolute discretion and to select another eligible entrant as a potential prize winner. The decision of the\u202faforementioned parties\u202fis final and binding, without any right of appeal.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Copyright and Permissions\u202f<\/strong>
By entering the Contest, all entrants completing the\u202fJob Search Support Hub\u202fsurvey consent to Carleton University, its affiliates, licensees, assigns,\u202fclients\u202fand agents (collectively, \u201cCarleton University\u201d) ownership of the text\u202fsubmitted. Ownership includes the right to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, license, sell,\u202fmodify\u202fand alter without restriction or otherwise exploit the text, in whole or in part, in any medium whatsoever without restriction (including, without limitation, social media channels), in any country in the world.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fBy entering this Contest, individuals filling out the survey agree that they have no rights of inspection or approval\u202fregarding\u202fany use by Carleton University of the text or any materials that may be used in connection therewith or to the eventual use to which they may be applied.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fBy entering the Contest, all entrants and individuals filling out the survey waive, in favour of Carleton University and all persons as may be designated by Carleton University from time to time any moral rights that may be owned in respect of the text (including any and all rights to be associated therewith by name and the right to remain anonymous and the right to the integrity of the text, including the rights of modification and association), and any and all of my rights to privacy and personality in relation to the text.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fBy entering the Contest, all entrants and individuals submitting the text release and discharge Carleton University from all claims and causes of action that he or she may have relating to Carleton University\u2019s use of the Recordings in relation to the Project including, without limitation, all claims for infringement of copyright, invasion of privacy, right of publicity and defamation.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fBy entering the Contest all entrants and individuals completing the survey grant Carleton University the right to use, and authorize others to use, their name and likeness for the purposes of promotion or advertising in relation to the Contest,\u202fthe Co-operative Education office<\/strong>, and\/or Carleton University.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fGENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS\u202f<\/strong>\u202f 
Verification of Entries: The validity of any student status\u202fregarding\u202fenrollment is subject to verification by\u202fthe Co-operative Education office. Any incomplete, double, or fraudulent entries will be rejected. Any entrant or other individual who enters or attempts to enter the Contest in a manner which is contrary to these official Contest Rules or which is otherwise disruptive to the proper operation of the Contest or by its nature is unjust to other entrants or potential entrants will be rejected and that entrant or purported entrant will be disqualified. All decisions of the Contest judges, who are employees of Carleton University, with respect to\u202fany and all\u202faspects of the Contest, including without limitation the eligibility or disqualification of entrants or entries, are final and binding without right of appeal.\u202f \u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Odds:<\/strong>\u202f<\/strong>The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.\u202f\u202f\u202f<\/strong>\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fAcceptance of Prizes:\u202f<\/strong>The Prize must be accepted as described in these rules and cannot be transferred to another individual, substituted for another\u202fprize\u202for exchanged in whole or in part for cash or credit. If for any reason a selected entrant cannot be reached through the contact information provided, or does not respond to\u202fthe Co-operative Education office<\/strong>\u202fwithin five (5) business days of being contacted, or if there is any reason a winner cannot accept the prize\u202fas\u202fawarded, their entry will be declared null and void, and another eligible entrant will be selected from among the remaining eligible entries.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fSubstitution of a Prize: The Co-operative Education office\u202f<\/strong>reserves the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, and for any reason whatsoever, to substitute a Prize or any part thereof, with an alternate prize of equivalent value.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fTermination of Contest: The Co-operative Education office<\/strong>\u202freserves the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest at any time, in whole or in part, in the event of any cause or circumstance, including without limitation any virus, computer bug or unauthorized human intervention, unauthorized or automated voting, or any other cause that is beyond the control of\u202fThe Co-operative Education office<\/strong>\u202fthat could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the Contest.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202fRelease and Exclusion of Liability:\u202f<\/strong>By entering or attempting to enter the Contest, each individual agrees: (i) to release, discharge, and forever hold harmless Carleton University, and their respective officers, directors, employees, members, agents and other representatives (collectively, the \u201cReleasees\u201d) from any and all claims, actions, damages, injuries, demands, manner of actions, causes of action, suits, debts, duties, accounts, bonds, covenants, warranties, indemnities, claims over, contracts and liabilities of whatever nature or kind including without limitation arising out of, or in connection with the entrant\u2019s participation or attempted participation in the Contest, compliance or non-compliance with these Contest rules and acceptance and use of the Prize, any other prize or any portion thereof.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u202f Carleton University will not be responsible for lost, incomplete, late or misdirected Contest entries or for any failure of the Contest website during the Contest Period, or for any technical malfunction or other problems with, any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software or for any technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination of the foregoing, and will not be liable for any resulting injury or damage to any person or property arising from, or relating to, that person\u2019s or any other person\u2019s participation or attempted participation in the Contest, or attempted voting in the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a\u202fviolation of criminal and civil laws and, should such an attempt be made, Carleton University reserves the right to\u202fseek remedies and damages to the fullest extent\u202fpermitted\u202fby law, including criminal prosecution. (iii) Each winner must sign a release form, giving Carleton University the permission to publish in print, broadcast or online, the winner\u2019s preferred name without\u202fremuneration.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n
