Thesis Title: Somatic marker functioning during recovery from a psychopathic abuser: An examination of mental health, resilience, and post-traumatic growth in social decision making
Courtney’s PhD research provided a conceptual investigation of the neural underpinnings of recovery from a romantic relationship with a psychopathic abuser. Her research interests are in emotion, decision making, gendered violence, psychopathy, and mental health. She currently works for the Government of Canada at the Canadian Centre for Justice and Community Safety Statistics as a Project Lead.
