John A. E. Anderson

Dr. Anderson heads the Cognition And Neuroscience of Aging Lab CANAL Lab (www.canallab.ca) in the Department of Cognitive Science at Carleton University where he is the current Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Cognition and Wellness.”

He is interested in the interaction of cognitive reserve (lifestyle factors) and contextual factors (e.g., time of day, caffeine, and mood) on cognitive performance in older adults. The goal is to describe the complex set of circumstances that lead to optimal cognitive performance in older age.

Dr. Anderson is currently accepting applications from prospective undergraduate and graduate students.
