Nalini Ramlal

My main area of interest in cognitive science is psychology and mental health, examining how research in consciousness studies and cognitive science can help support the field of counselling psychology and psychotherapy. I use my background and knowledge in cognitive science to help support me in my role as a clinical therapist.

My other areas of interest in cognitive science include moral psychology, language and persuasion, and philosophical contributions to the modern-day application of cognitive science.

I am currently engaged in SoTL (scholarship of teaching and learning) research, and have been designing and teaching postsecondary courses since 2014.
