Some of&nbsp;her recent&nbsp;studies&nbsp;use&nbsp;digital&nbsp;technologies, such as smartphones&nbsp;and virtual reality, to better assess and treat cognitive deficits in schizophrenia.&nbsp;Dr. Guimond&nbsp;also aims to investigate&nbsp;the brain mechanisms&nbsp;underpinning cognitive dysfunctions in psychiatric disorders using multimodal brain imaging techniques.\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":11393,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"cu_people_first_name":"Synthia ","cu_people_last_name":"Guimond","cu_people_initials":"","footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"cu_people_type":[43],"cu_people_expertise":[],"class_list":["post-11392","cu_people","type-cu_people","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","cu_people_type-adjunct"],"acf":{"cu_people_job_title":"Adjunct Research Professor","cu_people_degree":"PhD.
