Meet with your Project Supervisor and read the information sheet about the Project Stream (https:\/\/carleton.ca\/cognitivescience\/wp-content\/uploads\/ICS-MCogSc-Research-Project-Guidelines-and-Agreement-2-1.pdf)<\/a><\/td>\nAs soon as you begin the program<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Consult with your Project Advisor and<\/strong> the Graduate Supervisor about course selection<\/td>\nAs soon as you begin the program<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Complete majority of course work:<\/p>\n

(this means 2-3 courses per term in your 1st<\/sup>\u00a0year)<\/td>\n

By end of Winter term in 1st<\/sup>\u00a0year<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Annual Review of Graduate Students (ARGS); this an evaluation of your progress in the program (CV required)<\/td>\nEnd of Winter term in 1st<\/sup>\u00a0year<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Work on your Research Project in consultation with Project Supervisor<\/td>\nSummer between 1st<\/sup>\u00a0and 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0year and Fall of 2nd<\/sup>year<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Select a Second Reader for your Project and fill out the CGSC5908: Research Project Agreement Between Student and Project Supervisor form (found here: https:\/\/carleton.ca\/cognitivescience\/wp-content\/uploads\/ICS-MCogSc-Research-Project-Guidelines-and-Agreement-2-1-1.pdf<\/a>)<\/td>\nNo later than end of Fall term of 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0year<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Complete any remaining coursework<\/td>\nBy April of 2nd\u00a0year<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Indicate intention to graduate<\/td>\nBy February of 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0year if intending to defend before May of 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0year (June graduation) or by September if intending to defend before end of Summer Term of 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0year (November graduation). Specific dates are set by FGPA.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Submit final version of Project for Grading (to Project Supervisor and Second Reader)<\/td>\nDuring the Summer of 2nd<\/sup> year. Specific dates to be decided by Project Supervisor and Second Reader. \u00a0 Grade must be submitted during the Summer Term.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
