The time at which the evaluation takes place depends on the program of study. Students will automatically receive an admission decision via their Carleton email account.<\/p>\n<p>Students who did not request Co-op at the time they applied to Carleton can request Co-op after they begin their university studies. To view application instructions and deadlines, please visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/co-op\/\">carleton.ca\/co-op<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To be admitted to Co-op, a student must successfully complete 5.0 or more credits that count towards their degree. Students in Cognitive Science who wish to partake in co-op must also meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain full-time status in each study term (2.0 credits);<\/li>\n<li>Be eligible to work in Canada (for off-campus work)<\/li>\n<li>Have successfully completed\u00a0<span class=\"sc_courseinline\"><a class=\"bubblelink code\" title=\"COOP\u00a01000\" href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/search\/?P=COOP%201000\">COOP\u00a01000<\/a>\u00a0[0.0]<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Registered as a full-time student in the Bachelor of Cognitive Science program;<\/li>\n<li>Obtained and maintained an overall CGPA of 8.50 or higher;<\/li>\n<li>Successfully completed\u00a0<span class=\"sc_courseinline\"><a class=\"bubblelink code\" title=\"CGSC\u00a02001\" href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/search\/?P=CGSC%202001\">CGSC\u00a02001<\/a><\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Bachelor of Cognitive Science Honours students must successfully complete three (3) work terms to obtain the Co-op designation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Term Report Course<\/strong>:\u00a0<span class=\"sc_courseinline\"><a class=\"bubblelink code\" title=\"CGSC\u00a03999\" href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/search\/?P=CGSC%203999\">CGSC\u00a03999<\/a>\u00a0[0.0]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p><\/dd><dl><\/div>\n<div class=\"slideme\"><dl class=\"slideme__list\"><dt class=\"slideme__term\"><a href=\"#slideme-how-do-i-apply\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"slideme-how-do-i-apply\" class=\"slideme__heading slideme__trigger\">How do I Apply?<\/a><\/dt><dd class=\"slideme__description\" id=\"slideme-how-do-i-apply\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><p><\/p>\n<h4>Applying to Co-op<\/h4>\n<p><strong>CGPA and Prerequisite Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In order\u00a0to be considered for admission into the Co-op Program, there are certain requirements that you must meet. Specific requirements for your program can be found online in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/regulations\/co-operativeeducation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Co-operative Education section of the Undergraduate Calendar<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All students must be registered as a full-time student (2.0 credits per term) in an Honours program that has a co-op option<\/li>\n<li>Obtained and maintained an overall CGPA of 8.50 or higher. This is a <em>continuing<\/em>\u00a0requirement throughout the Co-op Program, meaning that students must maintain the minimum CGPA throughout their participation in the Co-op Program.<\/li>\n<li>Successfully complete CGSC 2001 prior to your first work term<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Admission Entry Points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each program has\u00a0<strong>several<\/strong>\u00a0possible entry points into the Co-op Program.\u00a0 Here you can view the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/co-op\/how-does-co-op-work\/undergraduate-co-op-programs\/\">first possible entry point by degree program<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>If you have applied to the Co-op Program through OUAC, we will review your eligibility\u00a0prior to your program\u2019s first entry point,\u00a0and will contact you via your Carleton email\u00a0with an admission decision and next steps. If you are not eligible for admission,\u00a0you may have another opportunity later in your studies. We will contact you once again at the next entry point for your program.<\/li>\n<li>If you did\u00a0<em>not<\/em>\u00a0apply or were\u00a0<em>not<\/em>\u00a0admitted to Carleton with the co-op option on your degree, you can submit an online application within the deadlines noted below and based on the entry points for your degree program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Undergraduate student co-op applications are submitted via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mysuccess.carleton.ca\/login\/studentLogin.htm\">mySuccess<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>for those students who
