I will present initial steps in this direction,<br>\nfocusing on merging prevailing findings from neuroscience and cognitive psychology into a<br>\nsingle model. Topics will include mental map scanning, mental rotation, and future challenges<br>\nfacing the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Speaker\u2019s profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sean Riley is a PhD student at Carleton University\u2019s Institute of Cognitive Science, and<br>\nalongside Dr. Jim Davies in the Science of Imagination Lab, works on understanding how mental<br>\nimagery and related cognitive processes manifest themselves in the brain.
