Pecha Kucha is an organization that holds events consisting of talks. The constraint is that every talk needs to be 6.6 minutes long, and has 20 slides. One slide every twenty seconds, automatically changed.<\/p>\n

I will be presenting at the next one in Ottawa!<\/p>\n

I will be speaking about ideas in my forthcoming book (I’m currently shopping for publishers) Riveted: Why We Love Art, Products, and Ideas. <\/em>The thesis of the book is that the reasons\u00a0we are attracted to belief systems such as religion and astrology\u00a0are many of the same reasons\u00a0we find the arts so satisfying.<\/p>\n
