The title of their talk was \u201cForeign accent in song and speech\u201d. Kunio Hessel and Lisa Sullivan also gave a talk at the same conference, with Ashley Sokalski as a co-author. Their talk was entitled \u201cThe distributivity hierarchy and scope-ambiguities:&nbsp;<i>All<\/i>,&nbsp;<i>every<\/i>, and&nbsp;<i>each<\/i>&nbsp;in English and Swedish\u201d. &nbsp;Kunio and Ashley are undergraduate students in ICS, and Lisa is an undergraduate student in SLALS (Linguistics).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; color: black;\">Both papers were well received and all&nbsp;the students did an excellent&nbsp;job!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marly Mageau and Can Mekik (both ICS Master\u2019s students) gave a talk at the Ottawa Conference for Linguistics Undergraduate and Master\u2019s students (http:\/\/cla-acl.ca\/oclum-2015\/) on December 5th together with Emily Wang (a Carleton undergraduate student).
