Common organizational information are the bio-metrics of the social purpose organizations. They are the descriptive financial and employee data that gauge basic financial health and convey the size, age and location of the organization.

We are working with foundations, government grant makers and impact investors to reach a single common set of organizational indicators. This work will build on other prior initiatives.

The right set of organizational indicators will let funders sort and classify organizations (e.g. for profit and not for profit; large and small; urban and rural).

These indicators also include key financial measures that research has shown to have predictive power.
