Meg Sears trained in (bio)chemical engineering and applied chemistry. Her interests include environmental and public health, and least-toxic approaches for law and policy. She was a founding member of the Wetlands Preservation Group of West Carleton, Coalition for a Healthy Ottawa, and Waste Watch Ottawa. She chairs Prevent Cancer Now.<\/p>\n
How are you currently involved in community-campus partnerships for teaching, research or otherwise?<\/strong><\/p>\n Waste Watch Ottawa is currently collaborating with uOttawa Master’s students on a waste diversion research project. WWO collaborated with a previous group, reporting on Ottawa’s lacklustre waste diversion and Ontario best practices.
