On January 18, 2019. 12:00 – 1:30p.m, the Centre for Research on Educational and Community Services at the University of Ottawa will be hosting a lunch and learn on Developmental Evaluation, led by PhD Candidate Barbara Szijarto.
Developmental evaluation (DE) has become a prominent approach to program evaluation, distinct
from formative and summative. DE has a fluid, collaborative and integrative character, yet it also has structure. We’ll explore a visual map of 7 components of DE practice developed through a mixed methods study, and discuss the role of DE in program innovation.
