WEBINAR: Volunteering & the Sustainable Development Goals

October 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Location:Online - Register for more details!
Cost:Free
Audience:Anyone

When we look at the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that Canada and others committed to achieving by 2030, there is not a single goal that does not involve volunteers. Volunteers contribute to eliminating poverty, advocating for human rights, protecting the planet, and creating thriving and resilient communities.

In 2017, Volunteer Canada began to collaborate with Employment and Social Development Canada to explore the link between volunteer activities of Canadians and the SDG’s. This webinar will provide an overview of our early findings and support organizations and those who engage volunteers in examining the relevance to their missions.
