Anna Przednowek is a graduate research assistant (RA) with the CFICE project and CCEC, and a doctoral student in the School of Social Work at Carleton University.<\/p>\n

Prior to pursuing her PhD, she worked for over 13 years as a social worker in community practice with persons labelled with intellectual disabilities and their families in South-Western Ontario.<\/p>\n

Anna first started with CFICE’s Violence Against Women (VAW) hub in the Fall of 2015. Her long-term experience with CFICE sparked her interest in the impacts of community-campus engagement for students. Recently, Anna partnered with Algonquin College to co-develop a webinar<\/a> focusing on translating student \u201cacademic experiences\u201d into job skills employers desire.
