On Wednesday February 24, Carleton University held its 4th<\/sup> Annual Community Engagement Event at the MacOdrum Library (read more about the event in our article “Making Connections at Carleton’s 4th Community Engagement Event<\/a>“).\u00a0 The event ran from nine to noon and was packed with presentations and speakers from a variety of disciplines and groups. The purpose of the event was to\u00a0connect representatives from community organizations who were seeking to partner with Carleton students and faculty. The event featured a keynote presentation by Marc-Andr\u00e9 Clement (Culture Shock Canada) and some of Carleton\u2019s top students, who shared key insights on how to make partnership-based projects effective for all involved. It also featured a series of networking sessions hosted by community organizations and Carleton faculty on over two dozen topics, as well as a special session on a community-led proposal for an Ottawa networking platform.<\/p>\n
