The research\u00a0assistant will work under the supervision of the Chair of the Centre as well as the\u00a0Community Co-leads from the CFICE Tools for Community-First Community Campus\u00a0Engagement working group. The purpose of the research assistant\u2019s work will be to\u00a0support the development of a toolkit to guide community-based brokers in sustaining\u00a0Community-Campus Engagement (CCE) relationships; this might include reviewing and\u00a0analyzing relevant literature and tools, or assisting in organizing focus group studies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal English skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong familiarity with electronic resources including journal databases and \u2018grey\u2019 literature<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively with limited supervision<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience of the research process and written production of literature reviews desirable<\/li>\n<li>Currently studying in Carleton\u2019s School of Social Work, PhD, MSW or BSW program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deadline to apply: November 18, 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To apply, please send a short cover letter and CV to\u00a0<a href=\"&#x6d;a&#x69;&#108;&#x74;&#111;&#x3a;&#x63;s&#x70;&#115;&#x63;&#64;&#x63;&#115;p&#x73;&#99;&#x2e;&#99;&#x61;\">&#99;&#x73;&#112;&#x73;&#99;&#x40;&#99;&#x73;&#112;&#x73;&#99;&#x2e;&#99;&#x61;<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Position Title: Research Assistant Period: November \u2013 January 2016, with possible extension Remuneration: The successful candidate will be paid $25\/hour for 5-10 hours per week.
