Nourish: The Future of Food in Health Care<\/a> is a collaborative project led by the McConnell Foundation in partnership with Food Secure Canada (FSC), HealthCareCAN, Health Care Without Harm, Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care and other emerging partners.<\/p>\n

Nourish seeks to host a Health System Impact Fellow (2018)<\/a> being funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research\u2019s (CIHR) whereby PhD students and\/or post-doctoral fellows can partner with health system and related organizations (e.g., public, not-for-profit, private for-profit organizations) to accelerate their professional growth and career readiness and advance the organization\u2019s impact goals regarding health system improvement.<\/p>\n

Nourish seeks to develop a strong evidence base for the development, implementation and scaling of innovative strategies, practices and policies that improve food in health care facilities. Please read our host profile<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n

The application deadline to CIHR for the fellowship is April 5, 2018 so we encourage those interested to please contact Jennifer Reynolds, member of the Nourish Program Design & Delivery Team (jennifer@foodsecurecanada.org<\/a>), as soon as possible to explore this opportunity.<\/p>\n
