Non-Credit Mandarin Chinese

In our nation’s capital The Confucius Institute at Carleton University specializes in providing Chinese language and culture programs. Classes are designed for those who want to improve their Chinese language ability and learn Chinese culture.

Level I Courses meet 6:00 pm – 7:30 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday (Total 8 times) in 300 St. Patrick’s Building, Carleton University

Level II Courses meet 6:00 pm – 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday (Total 8 times) in 300 St. Patrick’s Building, Carleton University

Level III Courses meet 6:00 pm – 7:30 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday (Total 8 times) in 354D St. Patrick’s Building, Carleton University

  • Purchase the textbook/workbook/MP3 (NEW PRACTICAL CHINESE READER) before you take the course.  Available online.
  • If class schedule conflicts with the public holidays, the arrangement will be discussed by the instructor and the learners.
  • Courses are delivered by the accredited Chinese language instructors and professors from Central China Normal University.
  • The Confucius Institute will offer HSK after the learning if you want to test the result of learning.
