The CPSS is a 6.0 credit program is administered by the School of Public Policy and Administration and is designed primarily for public employees who are seeking special training in public service subjects at the undergraduate level. Required courses are drawn from both Political Science and History.
Applicants must have the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including a minimum of six 4U or M courses. Special consideration will be extended to other applicants under Mature Applicant regulations (see General Admissions Requirements and Procedures in the Admissions Regulations section of the Undergraduate Calendar).
Candidates may be admitted with advanced standing, but must complete at least 4.0 credits at Carleton, including all required courses, to obtain the Certificate from Carleton University. Students who have completed an undergraduate degree are not eligible for admission to this program.
