Carleton Spring Graduation Celebration 2021

Our usual in-person Convocation ceremonies for June 2021 have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are conducting virtual graduation celebrations from June 21 to 25, 2021, along with many faculty and departmental events to honour the important achievements of our graduates.

Students should look for the following emails about graduation:

  1. In early June, an email will be sent to all those who applied for graduation with more details about the plans for each faculty.
  2. On June 18, all students who are approved for graduation by the Senate will receive an email confirming their graduation.
  3. During the week of June 21-25, you will receive an email on the day designated for your faculty with a link to your personalized graduation experience that you can share with family and friends.

The schedule for Faculty Days is:

  • Monday, June 21 – Sprott School of Business
  • Tuesday, June 22 – Faculty of Science
  • Wednesday, June 23 – Faculty of Public Affairs
  • Thursday, June 24 – Faculty of Engineering and Design
  • Friday, June 25 – Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

In addition, celebratory videos will be available on this page at 7 a.m. EDT on Monday, June 21. They will also include an Indigenous blessing for our graduates led by Algonquin Elder Barbara Dumont-Hill, as well as a traditional honour song from Theland Kicknosway.

There will also be video messages from Chancellor Yaprak Baltacio─člu, President Benoit-Antoine Bacon, Board Chair Dan Fortin, Senate Clerk Betina Appel-Kuzmarov, Provost Jerry Tomberlin and our faculty Deans.
