To all current/prospective SSHRC Grant holders:

On May 10, 2017, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) has announced the reformation of its end-of-grant reports. What was previously known as final research reports or activity reports will be replaced by Achievement Reports. The new arrangement is a survey format available on a secure web platform. that is more concise and user-friendly, including a feature to preview the questions prior to starting the report.

Grant holders are being invited to submit their reports now, for application file number (file number), due (date). The newly reformatted reports are available for some funding opportunities. For other opportunities currently not listed, researchers must continue to use the final research report.

Please note that as part of the transition to the new reporting structure, SSHRC will be removing system access to the Final Research Report of Activity Report Tab from all grant holders’ accounts on May 23, 2017. Henceforth, any information that has been enetered in the final report tab, but has not been submitted to SSHRC will be lost.

Until May 23rd, grant holders may choose to complete either a Final Research Report/Activity Report  or an Achievement Report .  After the 23rd, all end-of-grant reports will be submitted using the new Achievement Report.

For questions relating to specific end-of-grant reports, please refer to the correct program inbox on the SSHRC Contact Us page.
