This information session will assist Carleton Researchers who are currently applying for the Ministry of Research and Innovation’s Early Researcher Award (ERA) competition, as well as Researchers who may be considering an application in future rounds.

Early Researcher Awards – These highly competitive awards are open to all disciplines, and are for faculty no more than 5 years from having started their academic research career and no more than 10 years from conferral of their PhD. More information on ERAs
Candidates put forward for this competition by the University are selected in advance through an internal review process by the Carleton University Prizes and Awards Committee (CUPAC) in conjunction with Associate Deans (Research) from each Faculty.
Please note, the selection process for the current ERA competition has been completed. Researchers interested in pursuing an ERA for a future round are encouraged to attend and also to speak with their Associate Dean Research and their Faculty Research Facilitator to indicate interest.
