Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS) announces a forum in Ottawa and launch of “Research Collaboration in Disaster Management”

This “JSPS-Canada Researchers Networking Forum”, is aimed at the promotion of academic collaboration between Canada and Japan.

In this forum, JSPS would like to share the experiences of successful collaboration in disaster management research by University of Ottawa and Waseda University.
Further, JSPS will introduce JSPS international fellowship programs for research in Japan. These fellowship programs support all fields of research, open for all career stage.

This forum is free and open to public. Especially we welcome those who are interested in the following topics:
– conducting your research in Japan
– research training in Japan
– collaboration research with researchers in Japan
– sending students/postdoc to Japan
– inviting researchers from Japan

Seating is limited. Registration is highly encouraged.

REGISTRATION

This forum is co-organized with University of Ottawa, and hold in cooperation with NSERC, Mitacs and Embassy of Japan in Canada. Also, this is one of the endorsed events as part of “the 90th anniversary of Japan-Canada Diplomatic Relations”.
