Kristin comes to CORIS with significant experience in facilitating research and managing funding programs. She holds a PhD in History from the University of York (United Kingdom) as well as BA and MA degrees from the University of Ottawa, with studies in History and Medieval and Renaissance Studies. Kristin’s most recent position was as a Project Officer with the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences where her responsibilities included managing funding programs and programming research-based events.

From 2015-2019, Kristin was Academic Manager and Postdoctoral Fellow with the Centre for Medieval Literature, a joint Centre of Excellence between the University of Southern Denmark and the University of York. In this capacity and among other responsibilities, she coordinated the Centre’s communication activities, wrote grant applications, and facilitated a group of twenty affiliated researchers.

In FASS, Kristin will serve as the Research Facilitator specifically assigned to work with pre-tenured faculty members. She joins the ODFASS Research team of Research Facilitator Darlene Gilson and Associate Dean (Research and International) Carol Payne.
