ravitsky@mail.med.upenn.edu<\/a><\/p>\nVardit Ravitsky is an assistant professor in the Bioethics Program at the Faculty of Medicine and School of Public Health, Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al. Previously, she was a Senior Policy Advisor at the Ethics Office of CIHR and prior to that faculty in the Department of Medical Ethics at the University of Pennsylvania. She was also a consultant to Genome Canada on Ethical, Economic, Environmental, Legal and Social aspects of Genomics Research (GE3LS). Her research interests in bioethics include genetics, reproductive technologies, end-of-life, research ethics, health policy, and cultural diversity. She is particularly interested in the various ways in which cultural frameworks shape public debate and public policy in the area of bioethics. She is originally from Israel, married to an Irish and is the mother of 4 children, ranging from a newborn to a 20 year-old.<\/p>\n
