He has written extensively on social policy in Canada, primarily via the C.D. Howe Institute (several publications available online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdhowe.org\/\">http:\/\/www.cdhowe.org<\/a>), where he holds the Roger Phillips chair in social policy. His current social policy focus is on Aboriginal policy. He co-edits (with Henry Milner) Inroads, a Canadian policy journal (see <a href=\"http:\/\/inroadsjournal.ca\/\">http:\/\/www.inroadsjournal.ca<\/a>). In addition, he has undertaken teaching and research in Bangladesh over the last decade.
