The following number indicates the number of individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 and who have been on campus in the 10 days prior to the positive test result being received. These numbers reflect the positive test results that are reported to Carleton University and will be updated daily (Monday-Friday) at 2:00 p.m.
- 1 positive test result of COVID-19 (active) to report at this time
Any individuals who may have come into close contact with these individuals will be contacted by Ottawa Public Health. A deep disinfection cleaning will be applied to any potentially affected areas on campus after an assessment by Health and Counselling Services and Environmental Health and Safety. The University will adhere to a strict protocol to ensure the identities and privacy of the individuals are duly protected.
The health and safety of the Carleton community is the University’s top priority. If public health authorities determine there is a health and safety risk on campus due to a positive test of COVID-19, the University will be provided with directives and appropriate steps will be taken.
