The Government of Ontario’s COVID-19 testing guidelines focus on testing only high-risk individuals and individuals who work in high-risk settings. They aim to safeguard hospitals and ICU capacity, protect the vulnerable, and maintain critical infrastructure and workforces. Post-secondary institutions are not included on the list of high-risk settings. As a result and in line with other Ontario universities, Carleton has suspended the reporting of active campus cases.

Individuals can review Ottawa Public Health’s Daily COVID-19 Dashboard for up-to-date information.

Individuals who have been on campus in the 10 days before the onset of symptoms potentially linked to COVID-19 or who have received a positive COVID-19 test result must still submit a COVID-19 Symptom Reporting Form through cuScreen to notify Environmental Health and Safety and Health and Counselling Services who will continue to provide an assessment and conduct appropriate follow-up.
