This grant is designed to advance inclusion at work by encouraging the dissemination of knowledge about inclusion-related issues, through an event or other knowledge mobilization deliverable or activity(ies) that brings together interested parties. Creativity is encouraged: podcasts, discussion caf\u00e9s, and websites are examples of eligible formats, in addition to more traditional meeting \/ small conference events. In 2023\/24 the grant program is making up to CAD $10,000 available to fund up to two (2) knowledge mobilization projects (maximum value per project $5,000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>January 19, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"overview\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Overview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>CRIW will provide funding to design and deliver events or activities enabling knowledge sharing and open, respectful dialogue and\/or reflection among practitioners, managers, academics, and\/or graduate students interested in issues related to inclusion at work. CRIW knowledge mobilization activities\/outcomes are to be free to attend\/use. Any materials presented or discussed must be in at least one of the official languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who should apply:<\/strong> Any faculty, postdoctoral or visiting scholar, or graduate student affiliated with CRIW can lead or organize a CRIW knowledge mobilization activity, as long as the research team consists of one faculty member from the Sprott School of Business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"eligibility\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for funding, applications must meet the following objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Facilitate the sharing of knowledge (based on practice, experience or research) on workplace inclusion-related topics as the focus, including but not limited to CRIW-funded research;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foster engagement\/connections between CRIW researchers and knowledge users; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage a broad range of stakeholders to engage in discussion, reflection, and\/or contribute their views on future research directions and best practices related to inclusion-focused scholarship.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"submission-guidelines\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submission Guidelines<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for a CRIW Knowledge Mobilization grant, please submit a project proposal with the subject line \u201c2023\/2024 CRIW Knowledge Mobilization Grant\u201d to criw@carleton.ca by January 19th, 2024, containing the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2-5-page project summary, including project description, objectives, target audience, start date and duration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>list of research team and partners (where applicable), discussing expertise and complementarity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>role of student(s) and outcomes of project participation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>detailed budget justification (Note: Travel costs to attend conferences\/events for applicants are not eligible)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a copy of all researchers\u2019 CVs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"contact-information\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For inquiries, please <a href=\"mailto:criw@carleton.ca\">contact CRIW<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About CRIW Knowledge Mobilization Grant The Centre for Research on Inclusion at Work (CRIW) is pleased to announce the call for its Knowledge Mobilization Grant.
