Researchers discussed the impact measures such as physical distancing, working from home, not working, etc., are having on inclusion at work and potential implications for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;following research projects were presented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/criw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/135\/CRIW-Event_1-Single-mothers-and-covid_Final_web.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Weathering the Storm Alone: Examining the Impact of COVID-19 on the Psychological and Job-related Well-being of Single Working Mothers<\/em><\/a>, conducted by Angela Dionisi, Kathryne Dupr\u00e9 and Chelsie Smith<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/criw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/135\/CRIW-Event_2-Nature-of-work-and-covid_Final_web.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>The<\/em><em> C<\/em><em>hanging<\/em><em> Nature of Work due to COVID-19<\/em><\/a>, conducted by Linda Schweitzer, Sean Lyons, Katarina Lauch and Jen Kostuchuk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/criw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/135\/CRIW-Event_3-Regional-culture-and-covid_Final_web.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>The Effect of Regional Culture on Social Distancing and Business Activities During the Pandemic<\/em><\/a>, conducted by Alan Cai and Zhilin Yang<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/criw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/135\/CRIW-Event_4-Retail-workers-and-covid_Final_web.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>The Impact of COVID-19 on Brick-and-Mortar Retail Workers<\/em><\/a>, conducted by Nada Elnahla and Leighann Neilson<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/criw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/135\/CRIW-Event_5-International-Students-and-covid_Final_web2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Pandemic, Panic, and Precarity: Interviews with International Students Stranded in Ottawa During COVID-19<\/em><\/a>, conducted by Luciara Nardon and Amrita Hari<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>CRIW is pleased to support research initiatives that explore the impact of the COVID-19 response on workplace inclusion, to help ensure that the needs of vulnerable populations are understood and taken into consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Researchers that received CRIW Ignite! research grant and CRIW Ignite!
