Funded by KPMG, CRIW\u2019s Graduate Student Bursary supports students who are entering or continuing in a graduate degree program within the Sprott School of Business and are studying issues around workplace diversity and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s recipient of CRIW\u2019s Graduate Student Bursary is Saquib Shahriar, a doctoral student at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saquib will research how culture affects women\u2019s representation in corporate boards in developed countries. The main objective is to see how culture plays into promoting women into top management\/ board of directors and how that in turn, affects corporate governance and firm performance.
