id=\"requests-for-cspsc-support\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requests for CSPSC Support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CSPSC invites requests for administrative and project funding support (up to $2000) from the<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/socialwork\/\"> School of Social Work<\/a>&nbsp;community including<strong>&nbsp;SSW faculty and instructors. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Requests can include a project that has already received funding from another source however funding from CSPSC will be offered once per project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To submit a support request, fill out the form below by <strong>November 1<sup>st<\/sup><\/strong>&nbsp;for the first adjudication period or <strong>May 1<sup>st <\/sup><\/strong>for the second adjudication period of the current academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Support will be provided to projects that align with the CSPSC goals and mandate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"the-main-objectives-of-the-cspsc-include\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The main objectives of the CSPSC include:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Primarily, to support and promote research conducted within the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/socialwork\">Carleton School of Social Work (SSW)<\/a> relating to matters of poverty and social citizenship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To partner with external faculty, researchers and non-profits devoted to promoting poverty reduction and social citizenship through research and outreach activities including presentations, workshops, forums and other educational events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide research opportunities for social work students interested in poverty reduction and social citizenship by creating research assistant positions and\/or by supporting SSW student research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To support new, ongoing and innovative research work in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/socialwork\">Carleton School of Social Work
