of their upcoming issues, the Editorial Committee for the Canadian Social Work Review\/ Revue canadienne de service social has launched a call for papers focusing on social work and poverty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA look at the tables of contents of the major social work journals in Canada and the program content of conferences and symposiums for professors and professionals in social work reveals relatively few articles and communications feature poverty as the central theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Canadian Social Work Review believes it is essential to bring this social issue
