CTPL is working United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) through the Africa Trade Policy Centre (ATPC) on a four-year project to support the Continental Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) negotiation process. Support includes strategic and technical negotiating advice, policy research, trade negotiation training, trade policy outreach, and policy research and outreach on social development (trade and gender; trade and health) and environment (climate change) issues. CTPL is implementing the Canadian component of this larger development cooperation project supported by Global Affairs Canada.
