On October the 18th, 2016, The Centre for Trade Policy and Law (CTPL) and Carleton University, in association with Cowater International and Grey, Clark, Shih and Associates had the pleasure of hosting Arancha González, Executive Director, International Trade Centre (ITC), Geneva.

Arancha González is an internationally-recognized thought leader on how women’s empowerment, SME competitiveness, and income distribution objectives can be promoted through increased trade and investment between developed and developing countries. At the well-attended event at the Rideau Club, Ms. González considered what would a Progressive Trade Agenda for Canada look like and what does it mean for Canada’s engagement with its developing country partners.
