Data Day 6.0 – Videos<\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Hosted by the Institute for Data Science, Data Day is an annual conference that celebrates the latest developments in data science and analytics research within Carleton University, the local community and Canada. The event will include presentations by Carleton researchers, government and industry experts, keynote addresses, and panel discussions. In addition, there will be a graduate student poster competition<\/strong><\/a>, showcasing data science research across all disciplines, and a speed networking session where Carleton students will be able to meet and network with industry.<\/p>\n\n\n

Data Day is open to all data science and analytics enthusiasts, regardless of affiliation to Carleton University. In previous years, our attendees have been equally spread between the public and private sectors and the Carleton community. This blend of academia and industry creates an ideal environment for multidisciplinary collaboration and networking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event is free and open to the public but registration is required and space is limited. Refreshments and a buffet lunch are included. You won\u2019t want to miss this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR REGISTRANTS:<\/strong> We have moved the check-in time for registration to 8 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A very large turnout is expected at this year’s event. We recommend that you plan to arrive early to allow time for parking on campus. If the conference room is full, the presentations will be livestreamed in the atrium, allowing all attendees to watch them in real-time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to also point out visitor parking options<\/strong><\/a> on campus. As there are a limited number of spaces in P16 (underground parking for Richcraft), there is also parking available in the P9 Parking Garage beside Robertson Hall (please note that pay stations are located on the first three levels only).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
