To join our mailing list, simply visit our Contact Us<\/a> page and submit the online form.<\/p>\n Seminars are open to anyone with interests in data science or data analytics, but please note,\u00a0registration is required as seats are limited. You will be asked to check in at the registration desk upon arrival.<\/p>\n Please register online using the online form provided in the\u00a0event listing.<\/p>\n We list upcoming seminars<\/a>\u00a0on our website but the\u00a0best way to ensure that you’ll hear about\u00a0them is by joining our mailing list.<\/a><\/p>\n The seminars usually take place on Tuesdays between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. during the academic year (September to April).<\/p>\n Our seminars are held on campus,\u00a0usually\u00a0in a seminar room on\u00a0the fifth floor of the Herzberg Building<\/a>. Please check the\u00a0event listing\u00a0for exact location.<\/p>\n Seminars run anywhere from 60\u00a0to 90 minutes\u00a0with additional time for questions at the end. Complimentary refreshments are provided for all attendees, at every seminar.<\/p>\n Probably. With the speaker\u2019s permission, we photograph and\/or record our sessions. The images and video may\u00a0later be used in print and online media produced by the Institute for Data Science.<\/p>\n On occasion, presenters will provide the Institute with a copy of their slideshow presentation, which is then posted on our website.<\/a> We sometimes film the seminars as well.
