Every course created in cuLearn will have an Announcements forum by default. This forum is ONLY for instructors and TAs to post important course Announcements for the class (students cannot post or reply to this forum).  All course participants are forced to subscribe to the Announcements. As a result, the posts are automatically delivered to their Carleton email address.

To post an announcement, click on Announcements (at the top of your main course page). You may Add a new topic, and also Reply to, Edit or Delete existing posts. A confirmation screen pops up before finalizing any of these actions.

Should you wish to change the name of the forum, turn Editing ON (button in the top right corner of your course page) and click on the pencil icon beside the word Announcements (see image below).  Make sure to hit ENTER once you are finished renaming the forum.
