{"id":6644,"date":"2024-04-05T10:58:03","date_gmt":"2024-04-05T14:58:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/culturalmediations\/?page_id=6644"},"modified":"2024-04-05T10:58:03","modified_gmt":"2024-04-05T14:58:03","slug":"refund-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/culturalmediations\/the-summer-institute\/refund-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Refund Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Refund and cancellation deadlines:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Up to eight (8) weeks of program start (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">June 3 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">deadline): You will receive a ninety percent (90 %) refund.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Up to four (4) weeks of program start (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">July 1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> deadline): You will receive a fifty percent (50%) refund.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There will be no refund past the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">July 1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> deadline.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regardless of refund status, all registered participants are kindly asked to inform us of cancelled participation.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Refund fees:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A refund service fee of 10% will be applied.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Refund process and timeline:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Refunds must be requested in writing by email to &#x63;u&#x72;&#97;&#x74;&#111;&#x72;&#x69;a&#x6c;&#115;&#x75;&#109;&#x6d;&#101;r&#x69;&#110;&#x73;&#116;&#x69;&#116;u&#x74;&#101;&#x40;&#99;&#x75;&#110;e&#x74;&#46;&#x63;&#97;&#x72;&#108;e&#x74;o&#x6e;&#46;&#x63;&#97; . All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Refund requests must include the name of the credit card holder, the name of the attendee\/customer, and the transaction number. Please do not include your credit card number in any refund requests. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment. Please allow for 28 days for processing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carleton University reserves the right to cancel events. If Carleton University cancels an event or service for any reason we will process refunds for these within 28 days. Please do not include your credit card number in any refund requests.
