ECON 1001 T - Introduction to Economics: Microeconomics

The microeconomics half of ECON 1000. Precludes additional credit for ECON 1000 and FYSM 1003. Prerequisite(s): normally restricted to students who have obtained transfer credit for the equivalent of the macroeconomics half of ECON 1000.

This is the first part (Microeconomics) of a normally two-term course emphasizing economic principles, models and tools to understand contemporary economic issues and to prepare students for taking more advanced courses in economics. In this section, students will be exposed to the basic principles underlying the behaviour of individuals, firms and markets.
