CUOL Student Centre, D299 Loeb Building
The CUOL Student Centre provides information, assistance and support to CUOL students. Missed one of your lectures? We offer a CUOL lecture review service. We also return graded assignments and midterms to CUOL students.
The CUOL Student Centre provides free access to lectures through our Video on Demand kiosks, which are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week (closed over the December break). Lectures are available within one business day after the broadcast. The lectures stay available at the kiosks until after the scheduled final exam of the course.
The kiosks can also be used to view the live stream from the classroom, so you can watch your lecture as it is recorded. cuLearn and other Carleton websites can also be accessed from the kiosks.
Headphones can be provided during the centre’s opening hours, or feel free to bring your own! You need headphones with a mini plug (3.5mm). Sorry, no bluetooth available!
Graded assignments and midterms for students in some CUOL courses are held for pick up at the CUOL Student Centre, or emailed to students who have made distance exam arrangements. If you live further than 50 kilometres from campus but have not made distance exam arrangements, or if you are unable to come to campus to collect the material, contact us to request that your midterm/assignment be sent to you.
Students can pick up their assignment in the CUOL Student Centre upon the presentation of photo ID. Not all assignments or midterms are returned in this way – please refer to the course outline/website for information specific to the course.
Final exams are not returned to students. If you wish to view your final exam, please contact your department.
