Every com\u00adputer sci\u00adence cur\u00adricu\u00adlum in the world in\u00adcludes a course on data struc\u00adtures and al\u00adgo\u00adrithms. Data struc\u00adtures are that im\u00adpor\u00adtant; they im\u00adprove our qual\u00adity of life and even save lives on a reg\u00adu\u00adlar basis. Many multi-mil\u00adlion and sev\u00aderal multi-bil\u00adlion dol\u00adlar com\u00adpa\u00adnies have been built around data struc\u00adtures. If we stop to think about it, we re\u00adal\u00adize that we in\u00adter\u00adact with data struc\u00adtures con\u00adstantly.<\/p>\n

The eTextbook, Open Data Structures, includes approximately 80 interactive videos and online exercises and expanding the user experience by making it more accessible with transcripts, captions etc. Each interactive module will be self-contained, so that it can be used as a resource by instructors working from any textbook. text includes 40 modules arranged into 14 chapters each of which will consist of two to five interactive videos, each being two to five minutes in length, and having at least one self-assessment exercise and discussion questions. A typical student using a module will spend 10-20 minutes watching videos and 40-60 minutes doing in-video and post-video exercises.<\/p>\n

Le but de ce manuel est de donner une base solide en alg\u00e8bre lin\u00e9aire aux \u00e9tudiants ayant l\u2019intention de poursuivre des \u00e9tudes dans des domaines appliqu\u00e9s des sciences, de ing\u00e9nierie et des statistiques. Ce manuel est divis\u00e9 en deux parties. La partie I est une introduction \u00e0 l\u2019alg\u00e8bre lin\u00e9aire. La partie II aborde des sujets de niveaux interm\u00e9diaire, culminant \u00e0 une discussion sur la d\u00e9composition en valeurs singuli\u00e8res, qui est devenu un puissant outil d\u2019analyse des donn\u00e9es et d\u2019applications en ing\u00e9nierie. Le manuel se termine par que quelques applications.<\/p>\n

Ce manuel met l\u2019accent sur les m\u00e9thodes de calcul et les r\u00e9sultats. \u00c0 quelques exceptions pr\u00e8s, les aspects th\u00e9oriques des sujets discut\u00e9s sont aussi trait\u00e9s en d\u00e9tail. Il est ainsi possible de choisir combien de temps consacrer aux aspects th\u00e9oretiques de chaque sujet.<\/p>\n
