Non-Credit Courses and Programs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Micro-credentials<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Micro-credentials are short, skill-specific, non-credit courses designed to help upskill and reskill for in-demand jobs. Carleton\u2019s Micro-credential courses are part of eCampus Ontario and are eligible for the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). Micro-credentials are approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professional Development<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Professional development are non-credit continuing education programs which may include courses, seminars, workshops, and certificates that a person pursues to develop skills and competencies designed to help advance their career and may be focused on a particular area of study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proposed Non-credit courses (both Micro-credentials and Professional Development) are to be submitted through the Non-credit Course Request Form in Courseleaf. Once submitted, it will go through a review process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
