If your website has one or more sub-sites, please focus on those first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"why-are-we-migrating-sub-sites-first\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Are We Migrating Sub-sites First?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once a main site is migrated to <strong>cuTheme<\/strong>, any connected sub-sites that haven&#8217;t been migrated may become inaccessible. That means students, faculty, staff, and members of the public may no longer be able to reach that content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By migrating sub-sites first, we can ensure they remain available and properly connected when the main site moves to <strong>cuTheme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"what-you-need-to-do\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Need to Do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before your migration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify all sub-sites associated with your website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm which ones are still needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review content for accuracy and relevance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove outdated or duplicate content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Archive anything that is no longer required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"a-little-preparation-goes-a-long-way\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Little Preparation Goes a Long Way<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taking time to prepare your sub-sites now will help:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Keep content accessible throughout the migration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid disruptions for your users.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce delays during the migration process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make your transition to <strong>cuTheme<\/strong> smoother and faster.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your website includes sub-sites, please make them your first priority as you prepare for migration to <strong>cuTheme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of our move to cuTheme, all public websites will be migrated to the university&#8217;s new web theme.
