Andrew (Andy) Crosby (he/him) is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at Carleton University, on unceded and unsurrendered Algonquin land. Andy has been involved in Tracking (In)Justice from almost the beginning in 2021, primarily building the police-involved deaths database, before joining as a Co-Investigator on the project’s Partnership Development and Insight Grants. Crosby has two co-authored books on policing—Policing Indigenous Movements: Dissent and the Security State (2018) and Thin Blue Rage: The Police Countermovement (2026).
