To apply to one of the participating master\u2019s programs, please visit&nbsp;the <a title=\"Graduate Admissions How to Apply Website\" href=\"http:\/\/graduate.carleton.ca\/apply-online\">Graduate Admissions website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Admission to the collaborative master&#8217;s program in Data Science&nbsp;is competitive and is determined at the time of admission into the participating master&#8217;s program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To see the admission requirements for these programs, you must visit the respective department websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"admission-requirements-for-specialization\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission Requirements for Specialization<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Honours bachelor degree or equivalent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completion of the\u00a0Data Science\u00a0Specialization Form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be admitted to and maintain current registration in one of the <a title=\"Data Science Main Page\" href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/datascience\">participating master\u2019s program<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"required-documents\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Documents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After you have submitted your online application and your application fee has been processed for your application to the participating master\u2019s program, you will be instructed on how to upload your required documents in Carleton Central. For complete information regarding required documents, please visit the <a title=\"Graduate Admissions Required Document Information\" href=\"http:\/\/graduate.carleton.ca\/apply-online\/required-documents\/\">Graduate Admissions website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in being considered for the collaborative master\u2019s program in Data Science, you must indicate this in the Program Details portion of the online Carleton 360 application form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"application-deadlines\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Deadlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Application deadlines vary depending on the program you are applying to. You must follow the <a title=\"Graduate Admissions Application Deadline Information\" href=\"http:\/\/graduate.carleton.ca\/apply-online\/deadlines\/\">application deadline<\/a> of the participating master&#8217;s program to which you are applying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"how-to-apply\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students wishing to apply to the collaborative master\u2019s program in Data Science must first create a <a href=\"https:\/\/360.carleton.ca\/urd\/sits.urd\/run\/siw_lgn\">Carleton 360<\/a> account. Once the applicant has chosen their program (see participating programs above), they must select &#8216;yes&#8217; to the <em>&#8220;I am interested in Data Science&#8221;<\/em> question asked in the <strong>Program Details<\/strong> portion of the online application. You will then be prompted to indicate your general rationale for applying to the collaborative master\u2019s program in Data Science, including your academic background, academic interests and career goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The application process&nbsp;for graduate studies at Carleton for all prospective students is the same and must be completed online.
