The Carleton University Institute of Data Science (CUIDS)<\/a> is home to the Collaborative Graduate Specialization in Data Science, and Master’s and PhD programs in Data Science, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (DSAAI). Students who are interested in either the Collaborative Specialization or Graduate Studies DSAAI can find more information below.<\/p>\n

Graduate Specialization in Data Science<\/h4>\n

With over 26 University Departments offering a\u00a0Master’s Program with a Collaborative Specialization<\/a>, students can complete a Master’s Degree in Geography, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Public Policy and Administration or Health Sciences (just to name a few) with a specific specialization in Data Science. Student’s can choose from course based, project based, and thesis based options; which are not restricted to students with a technical background.<\/p>\n

The collaborative specialization is geared towards graduate students and high-tech professionals alike who are interested in understanding how to analyze and use \u2018big data\u2019 sets collected by governments, industry, and NGOs.<\/p>\n\n

Graduate Studies in Data Science, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (DSAAI)<\/h4>\n

Carleton currently offers several Master’s degrees (M.A.Sc, M.C.S., M.Eng., M.I.T., M.Sc.), and a PhD program for students interested in Data Science, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The programs offer opportunities to undertake groundbreaking research in the field of data science and analytics from several directions such as statistics, AI methods, and software engineering.<\/p>\n

Our DSAAI master\u2019s programs are recognized by the Vector Institute as delivering a curriculum that equips its graduates with the skills and competencies sought by industry.<\/p>\n\n
