DBOM is always looking for ambitious talented individuals to join in our research group! Three funded research positions for master’s and doctoral thesis students are available for Fall 2026.
- GenAI software tool to develop building performance simulation-based retrofit decision making tool (partnership with NRC)
- Integration of personalized comfort systems in automation and control systems (partnership with Concordia University)
- Implementation and assessment of advanced supervisory control technologies (partnership with Delta Controls)
Ideal candidates are expected to have following attributes:
- Background in building engineering or related areas;
- Knowledge of building energy modelling techniques and HVAC systems;
- Knowledge of programming environments such as Python, and Matlab;
Domestic students will be given priority in admission. Only exceptional international students will be considered.
